Stunning Chiwoo Cheonwang design
  • Like the first coin in the Chiwoo Cheonwang series, this second release carries a detailed design depicting the fearsome warrior in an epic stance. 
  • This powerful figure is depicted in stunning detail on the obverse of KOMSCO’s second coin. Like the first release, Chiwoo Cheonwang appears in full-armor with his mask donned, his large shield and spear in either hand. This time around, he is mounted on a fearsome, rearing warhorse, with his cape billowing in the wind. “CHIWOO CHEONWANG” is inscribed on the designs’ wide border.
  • The reverse design mirrors that of the first Chiwoo Cheonwang Medal, and besides the year will undoubtedly remain unchanged throughout the course of the series. It is a fantastic, detailed depiction of Cheonwang’s shield, encircled by the inscriptions “2018 FINE SILVER 999,” “REPUBLIC OF KOREA,” "1 CLAY" and at the bottom, the KOMSCO logo. Between the shield and the logo is a special anti-counterfeiting feature – a small lenticular circle with the text “Ag" or "999," depending on the viewing angle.
 
Who is Chiwoo Cheonwang?
  • Chiwoo Cheonwang is a well-known symbol in South Korea whose mask serves as the mascot of the Red Devils – a club that supports the national South Korean soccer team. Beyond this modern use of his mask, Chiwoo Cheonwang is known throughout Korean lore and legend as a God of War. He wears a demon-like mask, casts magical spells, carries a large shield with his mask engraved on the front and is believed to control the weather!
 
What is a Clay?
  • KOMSCO instituted the Clay for the very first time on this Chiwoo Cheonwang Medal series. While not a legal tender denomination, the concept measurement is meant to relate to a certain amount of land, or as described by the Mint, "soil, earth, dirt, ground and land." In essence, it relates the value of 1 troy ounce of silver to a certain amount of land - 1 Clay.

  • Bullion Items and Final Sale Items – Non-Returnable, Non-Cancellable, Exchanges Only

    • The term “Bullion Items”, for purposes of this Product Return Policy, refers to ungraded silver, gold, platinum or palladium legal tender coins; and silver, gold, platinum or palladium bars or rounds; as well as any other item advertised or marketed by the Company as a “bullion item”, prior to Customer purchase.
    • The term “Final Sale Items” refers to any item that is marked as a Final Sale in its listing description at the time of purchase.
    • Bullion Items and Final Sale Items may not be returned or canceled for any reason, at any time, but in the event of a manufacturer’s defect may be exchanged for the same item, within the Company’s sole discretion, if otherwise available.

     All Other Items – 30-Day Return Policy

    • For all purchases other than Bullion Items and Final Sale Items, you are entitled to return your purchase from the Company within 30 days of the ship date and receive a full refund of the purchase price, conditioned upon the following:

    • Products cannot be altered, and coins must be in their original coin capsules, and original packaging, complete and in saleable condition, as a condition of any return. If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange; and

      All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned; and

      Returns must include a Return Authorization Number. This number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department by emailing us at oldskoolz@yahoo.com 

      If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, or these conditions are not satisfied, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, at the Company’s sole discretion.

    • Refunds of non-bullion items are for the cost of product only, less any discounts or deductions actually taken off the product price; shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless otherwise stated by the Company.
    • The Company will refund amounts owed to the customer in the same manner in which the original purchase was made, i.e., credit card purchases will be credited back to the credit card used. Any balance due and owing on a returned item will be deducted from the refunded amount prior to crediting the customer’s account.

    Beyond the 30-day return period, the Company is under no obligation to accept return of any product but may in its discretion do so pursuant to this policy.

  • Terms of Sale 

    I will not be responsible for lost shipments once it is packed and dropped off at the post office. Please understand that I offer insurance at the cheapest possible rate, and highly recommend it.**

    Shipping will be $5.50 and include a tracking number so that you can keep track of where your package is. If the post office offers it then so do we, Example if you want to pay extra for signed delivery let us know and we will add that to the cost of shipping so whatever you wish we can add it extra.
